About

Digging beneath fancy interfaces to understand how computing really works deep down.

I'm Abdullah, a Computer Science student at the Virtual University of Pakistan. My passion lies in peeling back the layers of abstraction — from high-level software and the internet down to digital logic, assembly, and silicon.

My Journey

I started my BSCS degree in 2024 at the Virtual University of Pakistan. At first, I worried that distance learning might mean missing out on social interaction, campus life, and peer gatherings. Instead of letting that hold me back, I took ownership of my network: I actively attend in-person meetups, conferences, and tech events to connect with fellow builders, exchange ideas, and stay immersed in the tech community.

Studying at VU turned out to be a distinct advantage. The faculty are exceptionally qualified, and the lectures are recorded with high clarity and structure. Having ownership of my time allows me to watch lectures at my own pace, thoroughly read recommended books, and build a deep, first-principles grasp of computer theory.

What Computing Truly Is

Before starting my degree, I had picked up basic digital tools like WordPress and graphic editing software. At first, I assumed university courses would just be dated academic theory. But within a few months, I had a realization: Computer Science reveals what is actually happening behind those fancy user interfaces.

I love putting continuous effort into understanding how everything we see on screen and do digitally functions under the hood. All of it is powered by semiconductors — engineered silicon. Programming languages are practical human tools, but deep down, everything reduces to high and low voltages, logic gates, and binary 0s and 1s.

I have developed a strong, end-to-end understanding of how computers, software systems, and the internet interact. When you click a button on a site like amazon.com, I love thinking through everything that happens behind the scenes — from browser rendering and packet routing to server-side processes and distributed storage.

Current Focus

My current focus is on exploring artificial intelligence — not simply calling third-party APIs or using prompt wrappers, but digging into the underlying mathematics, optimization algorithms, and system architectures driving this AI era.

I love exploring concepts beyond the surface and digging into the abstractions all around us. Above all, I enjoy meeting people, sharing ideas, and learning from others who care deeply about technology.

Co-Founding & Partnership

You bring the idea. I’ll help build the technology.

I’m open to partnering as a Technical Co-Founder to turn promising ideas into real, scalable products.

Building an early-stage product requires more than just standard software development — it requires technical vision, rapid execution, and the ability to make pragmatic engineering trade-offs under real-world constraints. I bring end-to-end capabilities across web, mobile, desktop systems, and cloud architecture.

If you have a strong domain insight, customer validation, or an ambitious vision and need a dedicated technical partner to build it, let's talk about partnering →
